Financial and Billing Information
At the time of making your appointment, our reception staff will inform you of the cost of the initial and follow-up consultations.
All appointments are required to be paid on the day of consultation.
We accept Creditcard, (excuding AMEX and Diners), cash or cheque as payment methods. Upon payment our staff will be able to process your Medicare Claim directly.
Once it has been determined by the surgeon that you require an operation, our staff will be able to provide you with a cost estimate for your surgery. This letter of financial consent will outline the costs involved for your surgeon and assistant, including your rebate and any out of pocket expenses. In most instances there will be a part of your surgical fee that will not be covered by Medicare and your health fund. In most cases full payment prior to surgery is required.
We will also provide you with the contact details of the Anaesthetist who you will be able to contact prior to your surgery to determine their costs, as well as the appropriate hospital. It is important that you are informed of all the costs prior to your surgery.
Our staff are happy to help you navigate your way through this area if you require any assistance.
